The Foulis Medal - 3rd July 2015

"For a memorable golfing experience using traditional hickory clubs, come to Leith Links and play on the very turf where golf's earliest rules were written"

The Foulis Medal was presented to the Society by our  President, Douglas Foulis, in 2007, and is competed for each year by Leith-based organisations. This year the weather was very kind to us, so the larger-than-normal field of 10 teams teed off in glorious sunshine in the hope of a great score..

The scores were quite close, but Jeneil came out ahead of the chasing pack to retain the trophy they won for the first time last year. Congratulations to them, it's up to everyone else to try to stop their "hat-trick"!

The full list of scores were:-

43 - Jeneil
46 - Leith Franklin, Academicals, Beige Cricket club & Duke Street URC Church
50 - Leith Historical Society
51 - South Leith Church
55 - Leith Rotary B
56 - Bruce Stevenson I
59 - Bruce Stevenson II
64 - Leith St Andrew Church
67 - Leith Rotary A
