Public Opening 2003

The week in July when we were able to create our course at Leith Links was blessed with superb weather and many people took advantage to play the 5-hole course with hickory clubs and balls from bygone days.

Some were regular golfers, the modern advantages of soft-spiked shoes and gloves making an interesting contrast with the clubs they were using! But there were also those who were trying golf for the very first time, which was a particular delight to the Society.
