The week in July when we were able to create our course at Leith
Links was blessed with superb weather and many people took
advantage to play the 5-hole course with hickory clubs and balls from bygone
Some were regular golfers, the modern advantages of
soft-spiked shoes and gloves making an interesting contrast with the clubs
they were using! But there were also those who were trying golf for the
very first time, which was a particular delight to the Society.
